Our Book Club met again this month for a relaxed and enjoyable evening of book chat, good food, drinks, and plenty of laughter. It’s always a lovely opportunity for members to get together, catch up, and share their thoughts in a friendly and welcoming setting.
This month’s read was The Names by Florence Knapp. The Names is the story of three names, three versions of a life, and the infinite possibilities that a single decision can spark.
It also touches on the serious and thought-provoking theme of domestic abuse, exploring how it can affect individuals and families in different ways. This added depth to our discussion and prompted a thoughtful and respectful conversation among members.
Thank you to everyone who joined us — we’re already looking forward to our next meeting and another great read.
